Hi, if anyone can help me out. i recently bought the canon A590is and maybe i missed this but, is there a gauge to show the battrey life remaining? thanks.

There is a low battery warning icon that shows-up on the LCD.

But it only show-us when the battery is getting low.

A lot of camcorders have a battery condition indicator, but Canon does not do that on any of their still cameras.
