Video File

The simplest solution is to buy a SD/SDHC card reader for your computer.
Available at any store that sells digital cameras.
Connect the card reader, and insert the memory card.
The computer will see the card as being another disk drive.
Use drag and drop to get the video file onto the computer.

With Some cameras you can do something similar.
Connect the USB cable from the computer to the camera.
Go to "MY Computer" and see if you have a new disk drive.
If so, that is your camera.
Use drag and drop to download the video file to your computer.

regarding SDHC card reader

Many Thanks for your help.Does my PC (Windows XP) will be able to sense any SDHC card reader or do I need to look for any specific feature while buying the SDHC card reader?

SDHC
Feb 19, 2010 7:16AM PST

History:
All SD cards up to and including 2 gig are called SD
All SD cards 4 thru 32 gig are called SDHC (High Capacity)
Older SD card readers can not read SDHC.
Older SD digital cameras can not read SDHC.

Most newer SD card readers can read SD and SDHC.
But you should look and see if it says it can handle SDHC.
The store might have an old card reader still in inventory.

The operating systems XP and higher do not need drivers for card readers.
The driver is built into the operating system.

The operating system does not care if it is SD or SDHC.
