This 2001 camera looks done for.

I bought this camera new. It has has never been dropped or abused and has always worked flawlessly.
Suddenly it has an odd problem. When taking photos in Manual mode, pictures come out looking like an old style film negative; here's an example: <http: i891.photobucket.com="" albums="" ac112="" refpix="" tech="" img_0310_zpstlgyljfq.jpg="">. Sometimes I end up with a normal photo if I set the exposure very low, but usually not.
Pictures in Auto mode are relatively normal, but can be a bit noisy (grainy) unless taken outdoors in bright daylight.
Could this be a bad CCD?</http:>
