Your S60 has a very sharp lens.
The SD630 lens is on the soft side.

You may be disappointed if you compare images between the two.

The S60 uses compact flash memory cards, the SD630 uses SD memory cards.

All small cameras have abandoned the compact flash memory and favor smaller size memory cards.

Right...

Since you are accustom to very sharp images (from the S60), you may find the images from the SD630 are not sharp enough.

If you go to this link:

http://www.steves-digicams.com/2006_reviews/sd630_samples.html

you will find sample photos from the SD630.

If you look at the photos expanded to full size (6 megapixels) you can judge the sharpness of the image.

.....

Here is a link to similar photos from the Canon S60:

http://www.steves-digicams.com/2004_reviews/s60_samples.html

Again, look at the photos expanded to full size (5 megapixels).

At the time they are downloading, they are at full size. After it is downloaded it will reduce in size. You can hover the mouse cursor over the reduced size photo and in a few seconds an icon will appear in the lower right corner of the photo.
Click this icon and the photo will expand to full size.

I suggest you compare the photos of the 2 1/2 story red brick building. Look carefully at the Traffic and Street signs and the white lettering on the dumpster.
