Cannot view Recent Docs

Hi ,
Recently , I am facing a problem with my OS--Windows XP,the recent docs link is missing on the start--programs menu .

I also tried to check this in the administrator section of my hard disk , but even there the recent docs folder is misising .
Please let me know if I can get this solved .

Easy fix.

1. Right-click Start button.
2. Click Properties.
3. Click Customize.
4. Click Advanced tab.
5. Check the box to 'List my most recently opened documents'.
6. Click OK.
7. Click Apply.
8. Click OK.

Not easy for WNXP Home Edition 2002

My Documents is there, My Computer, Internet Explorer & My Network Places only. Look at you My Recent Documents, I use A(floppy), B(Zip100}, D (D-ROM) and items from AOL there, can have for files & look at 10 different Documents from A: and all there. I Edit, Select All and Delete. Darrell L.

Hi Spiderman ,
I can see the recent Docs when I go to start and on the right window that open , but I f there are 10 recently opened Docs listed , Icannot delete it in one go , previously , I used to go the administartor, desktop and will find a folder called recent docs, by which I can delete in one go , but now I have to delete one by one .
Please advise , if Ican restore or how can I delete all the recent Docs in one go .

joelanandkumar, Click Start, Under the Start Menu tab click the Customize button, under the Advanced tab click the Clear list button on the lower right, click OK/Apply/OK.
