Any attachment, or just one particular one?

And is this from a web mail email account, or using email software like Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.

If it is just one file, tell us more about this file.

Things to look at.

Are there any Add-ons in Outlook? For example some anti-virus add-ons have been known to halt sending attachments.

Can you try a test. Open Notepad, type a few lines, save it to your Desktop with some easy name, then close Notepad down. Open Outlook and email yourself with this Notepad file as an attachment. if it fails to send, what is the exact error message, with any codes?

One more question, has this ever worked? If so, what has changed since it last worked?

If you're using MS Outlook, why did you changes in Internet Explorer (including settings) and AOL. That's all totally unrelated to MS Office.

First things to do:
1. Try another email client such as Outlook Express (comes with IE) or Thunderbird (free download). Do those work?
2. Stop your antivirus (which one?) and see if that makes a difference. Your antivirus being set to scan outgoing mail is a possible cause for troubles like this.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
