Cannot Scroll in Microsoft Access 2007

Feb 19, 2010 11:11PM PST

Hi,
I have a little problem in Microsoft Office 2007 Access. My OS is Windows 7 Ultimate. I cannot scroll down/up the page/s with my mouse wheel. I have the mouse setup properly due to being able to scroll in all my other programs. Is there something that needs to be clicked on to allow scrolling in Access? If so, could you please give me some direction? Your help would be most appreciated. Thanks, Ray

- Scroll through what? A preview of a report might be treated different than a one-record form.
- In what view? Design view might be different form form view, for example.
- Did it ever work (in the combo Windows 7 - Access 2007)?
- Did it work in another combo (like Windows XP - Access 2003)?

Table View
Feb 20, 2010 8:59AM PST

Hi,
I am in Table view. I have approx. 1500 records in which I can't use my mouse scroll wheel on. The only way I can scroll down/up is to use the far right scrolling tab. Thanks, Ray

Microsoft changed the behaviour of the scroll wheel in Access 2007 for FORMS: http://allenbrowne.com/ser-70.html.
But it works in my Access 2003 for TABLES, and I'm not aware it was changed there - makes no sense. Maybe it's a setting? I don't know of anything else, and I can't try here.

Apart from the vertical scroll bar at the right, pageup/pagedown and the arrow keys should work also.
