cannot run dos application in win xp

i am using winxp pro and i have dos based applications like lotus 123. when i open dos application, my computer goes very slow and i cannot open any other program also, it takes too long time to open and i chek the CPU usage in Task Manger it shows 100%. In lotus 123 i can open some files only. some bigger size file cannot open and it shows "Memory Full" error message. pls any one help to solve this problem.

Go back to an OS that works for these or...

Such is usually done as people migrate from old software to new. The cures are to go back to the old OS that you need to run said software, or to migrate forward to newer applications.

Sometimes we can upgrade the machine to the newer P4 HT CPU and that helps.

I had Same problem too.

Trust me The soluction for such problem. If you love your old software and games and want them to remain and work.

Its DUAL system Like ( Win 98 Se and Win XP )at the same time.
