Question

Cannot resolve website

Aug 9, 2018 5:41PM PDT

Hi,

Whenever I try to go to this one website on my home laptop (over wireless) I get the hosting site's placeholder screen. If I access the same website on my phone (not wireless) I can see the site ok.

I originally thought it was the hosting site and contacted their support team who were not seeing the placeholder and I've asked other people to go to the URL and they too see the actual site.

It makes me think it's a localised issue and maybe something to do with my ISP or the router. I've tried the following:
1. Clearing cookies and site data on browser
2. Tried three different browsers
3. Un-installed and re-installed browser
4. Re-booted router
5. Flush DNS

Nothing seems to fix it. The other strange thing is sometimes it does resolve on my laptop but then two minutes later I get the placeholder page.

If anyone can please help I would greatly appreciate it as I'm trying to setup this website for a family member.

Thanks in advance!

Clarification Request
As you are the Web Master.

We've had a discussion about Web Master skills so I'm going to ask one question.

Did you try it using:
a) The hosting service's DNS?
b) A Google DNS of 8.8.8.8

Also, what does the hosting service tell you?

Use a VPN to check it out. Opera had a built-in free just turn it on VPN. I use it to sniff out stuff like this.
