Question

cannot remove programs for reloading them

by swellmela / December 18, 2011 6:20 AM PST

1. I can't download updates from Adobe Reader ver. 9. MS fixit helped me to delete the Reader 9.0 but my computer won't let me download the latest version. (error code 1402) and so I now have no Adobe Reader at all..
2. I cannot remove itunes using add/remove (error 1402). I tried using MS fixit but Itunes is not listed and I don't have the product code which Fixit asks me for.
3. I cannot remove the messed up Roxio program from my pc (error code o4c7) using add/remove. Ms fixit did not remove it either.
your advice is appreciated

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
