cannot re-install windows

i reinstalled windows xp on a compaq tower it worked fine for about a week then it wouldent let me access cnet or it would randomly restart askin to check c drive. now when i put the windows xp disc in it will sometimes tell me there is no disk drive detected. when it dose work and installs all of the files it prompts me to restart then nothing it tries to load the disk again over and over and over any help would be greatley appreicated

without the windows disk in it it will only display a flashing line or it will say operating system not found on any devices

now its not displaying any video iam getting no signal i think it has a virius any help would be greatley appriciated

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
