Cannot hook up Epson 440 Color printer

I have been to Epson.Com without any success. I have an Epson 440 and trying to get drivers for Windows Vista. Is this possible to do with Windows Vista Home Premium OS?

The drivers are in Vista.

But it's possible your new Vista machine doesn't have a parallel port. You need that.

Epson Printer 440

I have a parallel port to USB adapter on the printer. The problem is we can't download the drivers for the printer. Will the Epson 440 Printer run on Vista. If so how do I download the drivers for the printer.

You can't download the drivers.

That's true since they were never issued for Vista from Epson. It's built in. It's also true that MANY of those USB to parallel port units fail.

Now go try a PCI LPT card like this one -> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815166005

Again, there is no downloading drivers. They came with Vista.
