Question

Cannot get newsletters

I cannot get newsletters anymore.

My email vendor (NOT changing under any circumstances) has adjusted spam control to make more stringent tests on MTA. alias6.phx2-aud-mta-out1.cnet.com and its variations fail.

So the email to me is bouncing back.

1. CNET will not respond to my requests on bounce backs.

2. Worse, I cannot change my email address for newsletters. It tells me the new email address (MINE!) is in use. It used to be a long time ago but no more.

I cannot get help from CNET.

The fouled MTA CNET uses affects CNET, ZD Net and Tech Republic. They all use the same MTA.

I logged in using the working profile but you cannot email to that so I will try to look in and see if there is any assistance.

Thanks for reporting this.

Can you tell me what ISP or email client you are using? Once you give me that info, I can forward it to the CNET product manager who runs the newsletter subscription services.

Also did you happen to get an email from me yesterday evening? I replied to your other account under the user alias: 'jd9hurst' but it is about you not being able to manage your newsletter subscriptions.

Thanks in advance for that info.
