Cannot find NDAS to network external HDD

I am completely boggled, and no one I know seems to have had this problem.

I have the 3.5" Aluminum Lanshare External Enclosure with Network Ethernet RJ45 & USB2.0 Interface, and it is working perfectly, with the exception of the networking function. I have the drivers, downloaded from http://www.welland.com.tw/html/support.html , and they install and work just fine.

If you see attached pictures, you can see that there is no NDAS Device # anywhere on my unit.

The serial # is ME740K06050555

Please let me know how to get this information so that I may network my drive. I have searched the internet extensively and cannot find further information on this problem.

Pics of my device are here (and yes I did remove the plastic stand bracket, and there is nothing printed behind/under it):

While I own a different model Lanshare, your post is void of any detail so I'll just share mine worked fine. But my network is setup per the forum sticky and I knew to allow the ports needed through both the PC firewall and the one in the router.
Good luck,
Bob

Repsonse to No Gas...

What details would you need? The instructions say to attach the HDD enclosure via RJ45 cable to my network router/hub, and to run the install program, link above, description of install here:
http://www.welland.com.tw/html/support/quick_installation_guide_740k.html

...as you can see from the pics, there is no "ID # or Write Key located on the bottom of the NDAS device."

I am not sure how to proceed... what forum sticky are you referring to?

Ouch.

Yours looks defective or maybe it was second hand and someone ripped the tag off. Since it's a defect there's nothing left to work in this discussion. It's not a network setup or such failure. Just defective product or documentation.

Sorry to read about your loss.
Bob
