Could be signs of a download accelerator.

The owner has something like Download Accelerator Plus or like product we need to uninstall. More clues please since the number of products is so long a list I can't guess if you use such.

Hi Bob
From Opera website I download
"Opera_9.10_Eng_Setup"
I click icon & it starts to download
"http://wwwn.installen
gine.com/msiengine20/instmsia.exe"

it is not anything I do & I don't know how to get around it.

The collection I noted is from a post I made years ago. But it seems to still kick out the pests today without cost or much work. There was some thought to retire it but there are still Windows 98/ME users so with CNet forums getting stickys we propped it up there so it can stick around for those that need it.

Thank you for another confirmed kill.
