Question

Cannot Delete File

by Bhuglah / October 27, 2015 6:16 AM PDT

Hello,
I have these two files on my desktop and I can't seem to delete them.

I get the error "Could not find this item. This is no longer located in C:\Users\MyName\Desktop..."

Something to note is that I am currently using Windows 10.
Thank you for the help in advance. Happy

That link that you've sent me, isn't it for icons or thumbnails only?

Yes, it tells how to delete icons. And that's what seems to be the case with you: icons on the desktop that point to files that don't exist. You want to get rid of that icon; dont' you?

Thank you for the suggestion! It didn't work though. Fortunately I found another way to delete them.
