Question

Cannot connect to UDP port / RTC programs won't work

Jun 10, 2018 9:48AM PDT

Hello, my computer will not connect to any real time communication programs, ex. Discord, Skype Teamspeak.
Discord says it is because it cannot connect to my UDP port, which i frankly doesn't know what means.
I was hoping anybody had a fix to this before i reinstall windows

Clarification Request
So did it work before?

Which leads to "before what?"

I usually find this to be an overactive antivirus+firewall issue. But here we don't have much detail.

Odd thought. This sounds like a router issue too. Is your router of the list of models known to be afflicted by the VPNFILTER exploit?

Is your router setup oddly with port forwards? if so, go stock for a test run.

It did!

It did work before.
I currently checked that i do not have a VPN installed, I havent been able to find anything in the firewall/antivirus but if you have any suggestions i can try them
I am unsure of what this VPNFILTER exploit is, but i worked like a week ago from the same router.

You could google VPNFILTER but here's the PSA I made.

Since the ISP is unknown I can't google about your issue and ISP. I guess you'll have to look into that.
