Also, is it installed on both computers invovled in this discussion?
I have a network printer installed on out print server. I try to access the printer from one client and I get the message that the system cannot connect to the shared printer. First I tried to ping the print server and it worked, so my client computer has the connection to the print server. Next when I open up the Run... dialog from my client computer and I type in the ip address of the print server like \\myipaddress it opens up the window where I can clearly see that the printer is shared. But I cannot access him. It not the firewall because I can access the shared documents, it's only the printer that cannot be accessed.
