Cannot connect to internet

by CandiApple / February 1, 2006 9:38 AM PST

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop running Windows ME. I plugged in an ethernet connection to connect to the internet. All I get is "page not found". I have tried to reboot but it did not help..removed "automatically detect settings" in the internet options.

What am I missing?
