Cannot connect to i-tunes store

Hi I recently downloaded the latest i-tunes version and now I cannot connect to the i-tunes store, I have uninstalled i-tunes the correct way as per instructions on i-tunes support site and reloaded it, I have checked the LAN settings in the internet connections and un-checked the box as many people say to do as this will fix the connection problem but it doesn't fix it, I use Windows Vista, have never had this problem until I downloaded the latest version, Any ideas would be much appreciated, Thanks Bruce

also error code 11222 comes up after quite a while trying to connect to store

FIX FOR "CANNOT CONNECT TO i TUNES STORE"

Hi i found this fix on "YOUTUBE" searching "itunes cannot connect to store windows vista"
This is the fix and it worked first go
On your PC close all programs etc
search CMD
right mouse click on this
click on RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR
then type in these words netsh winsock reset
press enter
a message will say to activate this change you must restart your computer
RESTART YOUR PC
go to i-tunes and it will connect to the store
