cannot close windows online

Feb 18, 2004 8:12AM PST

Whenever I go online I can't close my windows without resorting to the ctrl/alt/delete bit. Maybe spybot has deleted something that I need. Any help would be appreiated
Thanks

Haven't read a report about Spybot causing such. What Window won't close? Internet Explorer or such?

relax,
ie does loopy things just for fun.
spybot s&d really will not hurt anything that does not need hurting!
So the next thing to try is going to your control panel
then add/remove programs, click on internet explorer
and when you go to remove it you'll get a ,menu that asks: remove, modify, repair.
pick repair and see if that works. if not the best plan b is reinstalling your operating system over it's self, but repair should do the trick.

I don't have the 'repair' option, and Bob, for example, if I open an Internet Explorer, then click on a link and it opens in a new window, I cannot close that window without the CTRL/ALT/DEL crud.
