When dealing with spyware, it's best to use a variety of spyware removal tools to do so. They know best on which files are "suspicious" or not. I use ALL three of the programs below, plus the new "Microsoft Antispyware Beta". (The "beta" program is best to wait on at this time, but I still like it.) Here are links to the three programs I'm speaking of:
recently i discovered "istbar.exe" on my computer. therefore, i put it in safe mode. i deleted the file and a few "suspicious" files along with it. also, i went to uninstall and "uninstalled" a suspicious program that i thought might be the spyware program. well...it said it "may" conflict with the coloring and all on computer. well, the screen is fine but now my coloring and resolution is haywire. (hm..i guess if i wanted to be optimistic i could say the spy-ware is off of my computer). ive done a few procedures and so far, nothing has helped. can anyone give any advice? i know i could restore my computer but that in my opinion is my last resort. any input will be greatly appreciated. thanks!
