Cannot assign drive letters

Nov 1, 2006 8:56AM PST

I just reformatted one of my hard drives and reinstalled Windows XP Pro SP2. Problem I am having is that my other hard drives are seen in Disk Management and are also active but I cannot assign drive letters to them.
I have a lot of data on these 3 HD (1 IDE & 2 SATA in raid 1 config) That I do not want to lose. When I right click on the drives in disk management the only options I have are delete partition and help. How can I assign them drive letters so I can access them without reformatting them?
Any help would be appreciated.

System info: Asus nvidia 4 w/AMD 64 3500+ 1gb ram
