cannot access Skype

when I try to access Skype I get the message that it is not available, it has been working fine but suddenly stopped, I have tried deleting Skype though the Control panel and downloading it again but this does not work, I know that there are changes due to happen at Skype,
Skype works fine on my iPad but not on my Windows Desktop

Try Updating Skype From Within The Program

I've had similar problems with Skype when it wasn't updated to the most recent version.. Try opening Skype, then click on "Help" in the upper left, choose "Check for Updates".. Install any updates that are required and see if things work as desired.

my problem is resolved, it turned out to be a problem with my login and now works fine
