Cannot access mysoftware

Feb 24, 2010 9:47AM PST

I have downloaded and installed TT many times. The program installs and checks for updates. I click open TT page, but it takes me to the download page. I am signed into CNET. How do I actually get to the mysoftware page?

I am running Safari 4.0.4 and snow leopard.

Cannot access mysoftware updates
Feb 26, 2010 12:18AM PST

I am happy to see that there are other people who are experiencing thew same issue. I also have downloaded and installed TechTracker numerous times to no avail. I can not access My software Updates even though I am signed in.

I am using Firefox 3.6 and Mac OS 10.6.2

You are not alone!!
Mar 3, 2010 6:39AM PST

I run XP pro on a core 2 duo centrino "7500" and 4 gigs of DDR2 RAM on a toughbook CF-30, all intel.
Sends me to "log in" and there is my welcome thing at the top of the page that says I am logged in to cnet already. I can go round and round with it but cannot access the page behind the logon screen that is covering the updates page. It says there are 23 updates and 2 program updates but I can't see it for the log on screen in front thats bright and the one behind is dark!
Installed and uninstalled three times and ran ccleaner and disc cleanup both to reinstall for the same results! What????

Two separate issues
Mar 8, 2010 2:56AM PST

These do actually sound like two separate problems.

1. Getting prompted multiple times to log in to see your results. (This is a known issue we are working on.)

2. Logging in and going back to the TechTracker download page without seeing your results. (This is something our technical support staff can assist with, but we must guide you through it directly.)

ericabes82: We will be opening a support ticket on your behalf shortly to walk through this with you.

amilgrim: By your description it is not clear exactly which of these two issues you are experiencing. You can reply here, or better yet, file a ticket at http://cnet.custhelp.com (choose "CNET TechTracker" as the category).

deckhand45: Per several threads across the TechTracker forum, we are aware of this specific problem and we are definitely working to fix this as soon as we are able.

I am signed in to CNET (at the top it says welcome, amilgrim) but MySoftware page does not appear.

Also, I did file a ticket at custhelp but I have not heard anything yet. I will file another one today

So then this is a useless tool??
Mar 10, 2010 12:12AM PST

I am also having the issue of not being able to see my software. I keep being asked to log in (when I am) and never get to see what software updates are available. How can you release this when it does not work? So for now are you telling us that this basically is useless??? Is there a fix?

So then this is a useless tool??
Mar 10, 2010 5:12AM PST

I had the same problem. I found that TechTracker was signing in to an OLD user email address. What you will want to do is make sure you are completely logged out of any CNET accounts and clear your browsers history and cache. Once that is done re-install TechTracker on your machine, run a scan, then login with your email address you want to use and you should see your results page.

Same here-cannot access mysoftware page
Mar 14, 2010 4:59AM PDT

TechTracker open ballon and reported 3 updates. Clicked on Icon and was taken to home/download page. Logged on but went back to same page. Clicked on mysoftware: same page. Clicked on tray Icon: same page. Right clicked on Icon: clicked on go to my TT page: same page. Went back, right clicked, clicked on #updated available, clicked on one in the list: same page. Tired of viewing this page. Can CNET please inform when this problem is fixed. Thanks
