sorry i'll try a bit more lol

I purchased microsoft office 2010 yesterday and also got an anti virus package on offer kaparzki or something, i have since uninstalled it so cant remember the exact name. i used excel fine, no problems until i tried to open a file on my desk top with photos i had created and a box came up saying windows explorer has stopped working and then windows is re starting. i tried to open the control panel and my computer in the start menu but neither will open. the same messages come up every time i try to open them.

what i can access

I can access my google chrome and internet explorer and software installed like office, sage, photoshop etc, i have now installed avg and avg pc tune up and managed to uninstal the virus protection kraz or whatever and the microsoft publisher i already had installed before yesterday in case they were causing conflicts. i had office 97 installed but could not uninstall it because the disc was old and damaged and i couldnt uninstall without the disc.

Tune up?

Sounds like a registry cleaner. Since such things are rarely good for machines, post in the AVG forum how to undo that damage.
