Can you upload photos to the Kindle Fire?

by CateBow / December 7, 2011 2:57 AM PST

I'm looking into getting my mom a Kindle Fire for Christmas. I know she wants something that has WiFi, you can read, watch movies, play games, and surf the web. But most of all she wants something that you can put pictures on. I haven't read anywhere where you can put pictures on the Kindle Fire. Are you able to upload pics. to the Kindle Fire?

Storing Photos on Kindle Fire
by gary_gd / December 23, 2011 8:02 AM PST

I have never loaded photos onto my Kindle Fire but the help section says you can. Plug the kindle into your computer using a USB cable. The Kindle should show up in Windows Explorer. Then I suppose you can upload the photos to the Kindle.. I don't know if you have to download an app to handle the pictures after the upload ???

I was going to try it before this post but the Kindle batteries were low.. Wink
