Question

can you get personal info from a dead iphone?

Sep 8, 2015 5:53PM PDT

My son took his iPhone in the pool thinking that the lifeproof case would protect it. It is completely dead and will not start. Can someone access personal info from this phone?

then it may be time for a call to DriveSavers.com

You'll soon find out how essential that data is.

Not sure why your offspring would take the iPhone into the pool with him, but there is a little ray of hope.

Perhaps he can recover the personal data from the backups of his phone that he performed regularly.
