by daiseygurl / May 11, 2010 5:25 AM PDT

I wanted to know if you can download books to this cell phone. I was also wondering if anyone could maybe walk me through how to get a downloaded ringtone to work once saved to the sd card... ? Thank you!

Even if the phone could download an ebook, you would go blind trying to read it on such a small display. Most cell phones don't have powerful-enough processors or memory capacity yet. You would be much better to use a netbook computer or a dedicated ebook reader instead.

Moving a ring tone
by GEO2003 / May 13, 2010 9:06 AM PDT

I haven't had much experience with Android phones, but there should be an application such browse your phone or browse folders.

Using this application, you can browse the folders where the main ringtones are.

As an example, on my Treo running Windows Mobile - is basically like using Windows Explorer on a Windows laptop or pc, I found the original ring tones on the main Windows folder, then I browse my SD card and copy the ring tone from there to the main Windows Folder.
Allowing me to find the ring tone within the section where you select them for each caller and so on.

The methology or logic behing exploring folders on an Android phone should be similar to using a Windows pc.

I hope this gives you some guidance.

Hi Pepe, he is asking how to move a ring tone from and SD card to the section of the phone where he can find it to use it, once he saved it on the SD card.

So I don't have a lot of experience with Android, but i was suggestion that the logic behind exploring his phone should be similar as exploring a computer.

I myself, cannot use the ring tone from the SD card on my phone, i have to move it to where Windows Mobile can find it, which in my case is the Windows directory on my Treo
