Question

Can UDF be read in Win 7?

Dec 1, 2013 8:40AM PST

I have quite a few CD's containing archived music, which I made back in the Win2000 days. I know subsequent versions of Windows can't do "packet writing" or read Universal Disk Format, but does anyone know if there is a software available that can do this? I'd really like to be able to see what's on those disks!

Try using "File viewer for Windows" and see if that works, Some of the aftermarket burning/editing softwares may work also, Nero, Roxio etc. but I'd give the file viewer a shot.

It has become the practical fallback player for many audio and video media, so google for it. I suggest you accept it default modes, etc. and see if it works. I'm sure there are other s/w packs that may oprovide what you need. If during the play of your UDF audio, allow to check online any possible cure for you as another way to resolve this.
