Can the public submit an article to CNET?

by MinkyBinks / December 30, 2010 5:08 AM PST

Hopefully a staff member of CNET will see this and answer my question. I have an idea for an article and would like to submit it to CNET and hope that they read it and actually consider posting it. However, I do not know where to send it and the people who I have asked via email, have neglected to respond. Maybe this is not even possible and I am perhaps offending CNET but I think that maybe they should open a "Guest Writer" section where the public can submit articles for review and then publication online. Anyone else have any ideas/opinions.

Go for it.

Here's my suggestion. Look for Lee Koo or another CBS/Cnet staffer and click on their name. Their profile comes up and if there is a contact link, use that.

You have to be authorised to do that. Currently only CNET staff is authorised, there's no public submission option. Contact our HRM department to see if there are openings for new staff members.
