Question

can't use SCSI scanner with Dell Vista Comp.

Jul 14, 2011 1:36AM PDT
found old fold up family letters (legal size) and old scanner won't hook up to new computer (Dell W\Vista OS) . Do not want to use them on new sheet fed scanner for fear of tearing letters.

You could TRY an SCSI to USB adapter or you could install an SCSI card, assuming your system had an available port. Would it work? Uhhh, maybe but by the time you got finished you likely could have purchased a USB input scanner that would work with VISTA for less than you would spend on going the other way(s).
