Can't update Flash on OS 10.6.8

I need to install the latest version of Flash on my Mac laptop, but whenever I attempt to do it, the html page loads but Flash itself never downloads to my computer. Can anybody help?

i've been looking for someone to help me with this for months! i was able to do it, then now, its happened again. i can't play any videos on fb, totally frustrated
