Can't start my Notebook

Jan 26, 2005 11:00PM PST

Hello,
I can't turn on my Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo D1845 Notebook.
I was working on it for some time, ant then I shut it off via the power button (not the long press, just the standard Windows shutdown)

After several seconds I tried to turn it on again (I forgot to copy some files to a USB flash disk), and it wouldn't respond to the power button.

It didn't evn turn on the monitor, or the hard disk - nothing. And the LED indicating that the power source is connected wasn't lit, although the cable was securely connected.

It is possible that I shook it lightly, as I picked the computer up to put in it's bag.

I read on some other forum that another user had a similar problem because he had jammed the switch that indicates that the lid is closed. I couldn't find where this switch is located on my computer, maybe someone can help me with this?

Can anybody help me fast? I need the computer for a presentation in three days.

Thanks in advance.
