Can't start Adobe Premiere Element Software

May 10, 2005 7:44AM PDT

I loaded the Adobe Premiere Element SOftware to edit home digital video. After installing the software I invoked the program by double clicking the icon on the desk top, the program starts to open and gives an error message that it will shut down. There is no other clue as to why. I have tried to reload the program thinking that it was a bad load. No change
I will appreciate if anybody has an idea as to why this is happening.
My system is Win XP Professional version (with SP2), Pentium III 800MHz, 256 Mb memory and over 20 GB available hard drive space. My display driver is Rage 128 Pro version 6.13.10.5004.

Try a search engine...

I had some error message pop up when I attempted running Avid Free DV. I copied the exact message that appeared into Google search engine (you can use any search engine) and I recieved many links to numerous helpful sites. I would suggest that you also try the same. Good luck!!
