Can't Sign-in...

Oct 11, 2011 5:56PM PDT

Unable to Sign-in even signed-in, given within say interest of use of site is probably maybe within more of interest within say issue of site as well and of such should be more sense then not within use of site.

But of such though unable to use site given can not log-in if anyone of the site to say within interest of use other then being part of posting can be of any help that probably would be of interest. Given of course all interest within such probably is left to more then just posting of course, if so in such if posting is placed is fine, given use of site is little to any at anytime.

To say correctly probably placed more would be maybe of interest of say mods or moderators, and/or admins or administators, but still may not be correct even for itself. Don't know.

Again though is anyone to any point of such can have some interest within post would be helpful more then not.

Thanks.

You must sign-in to post. So how could you post without being able to signin?

I understood the topic, but then I failed miserably with the rest.

Can't Sign In ..

When accessing the site after sign-in requires additional sat sign-in and can't sign-in after signing-in. I didn't get it either. Even with soe use of the site, most use of the site on other parts of it probably is something not in use for much of any.

Is weird of course given any interest within such. Couldn't get anything to work of course but still. Figure post somewhere. The site doesn't really have a place to post in of the site offhand. Didn't search much though, only went through maybe 3-4 pages at most.

That is there is no general reply for posts think either. I'll check again though.

I've checked again, think the part of the site has changed partially again. But the same interest of use is there. I can do a few things but still gotta sign-in, keep gtting either incorrect username or pass or the account has been disabled. Which doesn't make sense given im already signed in.

But you ARE logged in...

You keep saying that you cannot log in, despite the fact that you ARE logged in - you would not be able to post here otherwise. Do you mean you have another account that you are unable to log in with? Or that you have another computer and can log in using one but not the other? Some clarification is definitely needed.

Can't Sign-in...

Rather this has to do with the whole site getting a change or not, Idk. But when i log-in for the use of the site and go to the forums, im fine. But if anywhere else on the site needs to be signed-in at or can be, won't sign-in. So I can't sign-in for any other use of the site.

Says I can accept thrid party cookies...

When I log-in to the site, and go to other parts of it, its basically saying I haven't signed in. Why would another part of the site need additional sign-in?

And also why does the forum have an absence or lack of right click for most of it? Maybe the two are related somehow.

There is no difference...

CNET does not require additional/secondary login when browsing from one part of the site to another; it is the same login on every page. I cannot think of a reason why you'd be logged in here in the forums but not on News, Reviews, etc.

Also, these forums do not "have an absence or lack of right click." That is a standard browser feature, CNET does nothing to disable it, and it works as expected here. If right-click is not working for you, I would say it's an issue with your browser. I'd start by checking installed add-ons/extensions and any other customizations you may have configured, but that's an issue best discussed in a new thread in the browser forum.

Right, but that's a different website...

Note that you're thinking of custhelp.com, which is a third-party website that provides a way to access support resources on CNET's behalf. It's not actually part of CNET or cnet.com, so the universal login does not apply.
