Can't seem to get rid of this virus.

by Keyserx456 / March 17, 2009 7:05 PM PDT

I'm sure there is a virus on my pc. I have McAfee on my computer, but it can't detect anything. I've d/l some programs to scan and run on the computer but about half of them don't open. What I mean is you try to run them and simply nothing happens. Sometimes when I surf the interent it redirects me to sites trying to sell me things, but not all the time. What I'm worried about and can't seem to find any information on is that sometimes I can hear people talking and there is no visible program running. I'll explain in more detail. Sound starts coming out of the speakers and people are talking, commercials are running, and sometimes it just gives out news. However there is no video and I can't seem to find out what's doing it. I know it's connecting to the internet to get the info, because if I unplug the network cable it stops. Anyone have a clue what is doing this or how I can stop it?

Download PC DECRAPIFIER save to Doc files and run from there. Like the others mentioned malwarebytes might kick it as well, good luck!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
