Can't see Uploaded files Locally

Mar 13, 2007 8:39PM PDT

Hi there,
I am new to the web development; my manager has given me the task to update the website in dream weaver, we are using core ftp lite to upload the files. But I am facing a strange problem I can upload files in wwroot folder but we (all employee within the organization on the intranet) can?t see the updated version of site, we can only see the older version locally, last night I opened the website from my home PC and I could see the updated version but that was not the most updated version as well.

The things I have checked are that IIS is installed on my local PC and the path of the root folder is OK both in dream weaver and core ftp lite.
I have also tried the passive mode of core ftp lite and also tried to upload the files directly from dream weaver but it is not doing any thing. Can any body please help me?

Thanking in advance
Ali

You didn't tell what you used to "see" the site.

Browsers can cache the content and some use the F5 key to reload. But you didn't tell what you used so I may have told the wrong key or missed the solution completely.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for your reply i am using internet explorer 6.0. i have cleared cache by pressing ctrl + F5 but still it is not working. But the strange thing is that we have got over 1000 terminals on the intranet and no one can see updated versions of the files.

Thanks
