Can't saved Excel 97

When i save my excel file, system prompted error below and my file was not saved....
"EXCEL caused an invalid page fault in module MS097.DLL at 0177:306c2481"

I am running on Windows 98, Office 97 SR-2 with 128MB RAM.

It only happen recently... Help...

Khteoh,

Does this happen with ALL Excel files, or just with some? What happens if you open a new (empty) workbook and save it?

Try 'Repair' from Setup from the CD, and/or redownload SR-2.
Try uninstall/reinstall + revisit to officeupdate as a last resort.

Computer shows missing mso97.dll file-I need to find free download to operate excel

That file should be on your 97 CD.

Run the control panel add/remove software and remove Office. It will offer to repair the office and you can slip the CD in at the right step.
