Can't Receive mail in Outlook 2000

Hello,,can someone help me figure out whats wrong with my Outlook 2000 program. It's always worked but I can't get any mail delivered today. I'm getting this error as it trys to load my mail into the InBox.

What error did you receive?
Note: When posting, if you type anything that is within quotation marks, it will preview just fine, however when you do proceed to post the message live, the system will inadvertently remove all text that are in quotation marks. The current work around this is to use 'apostrophes' instead quotation marks at least until the problem is resolved. - http://reviews.cnet.com/4002-7600_7-5083783.html

I to have been trying to receive messages .
Now that I have gotten the outgoing set up I can't seem to receive. it's the outlook 2000.
I've got the windows XP and just simple DSL
no biggy????

Please tell us you isp.

If your isp just changed or was bought by another company, then they may have also changed the email server and settings.
