Can't read certain fonts in Firefox?

by monsieurms / October 9, 2009 9:54 PM PDT

I have a problem with some websites where the font on my screen (using Firefox) looks like gibberish, as if I didn?t have a font of the type required installed.

Lately, this has been happening with Twitter?s introduction of ?What are you doing??

I must have the font installed?since if I copy and paste into WORD, it shows me the real text instead of gibberish.

This is the Twitter source for the page, below, above the ?What are you doing?? tag line that I cannot read in my browser, but can read fine in WORD.

It must be a Firefox problem?the text comes through clearly on IE 8.

Anyone have an idea why this is happening?

Web address?

I didn't read through all of that page source but I couldn't see a web site.

Can you provide it? Myself and others use Firefox, so we can test it ourselves.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
