I had to print it on the 8.5x11 sheet and discover that the print was off in the wrong corner. Remember I don't own a Bro, so I had to fish around menus to get the print to be in the bottom or top right or left corner so it would print on the card again.
So that's my trick to finding where the ink was spraying.

I have a Brother HL-5170DN on a wired network accessed by several computers. I used to print 3x5 index cards in the front tray but since I upgraded to Win 8 I get blank cards with no error message. I was getting by using a computer running XP because it still worked from there but I recently upgraded that one to Win8 so now I need to figure out how to make this work. Has anyone else run into this?
