Question

Can't play a mini dvd on my dvd player

Dec 1, 2013 8:17AM PST

I used a Panasonic VDR-D210 video recorder to record movies on the, small, mini dvd, now I can't find a dvd player that will play it. The cable connection from the camera looks like a headphone jack and the other end of the cable is the red, white and yellow RCA jacks. I don't have a TV with the RCA jacks, anymore. My computer can't open the file when I try to play it on the computer. I would like to transfer the file to a full size DVD. I took it to a couple of commercial business, Staples, to try and get it copied and they said their equipment can't read it either. What do I do?

Check the VDR-D210 manual

Look to see if the media needs finalizing in the camcorder. NEVER FINALIZE ON A PC!!! Never!

After that try playing the mini dvd with VLC PLAYER.

Maybe you can install a Klite codec or install a video converter such as apecsoft m2ts converter, thus you can play any format video on your PC.
