Can't Partition :(

This tool can only create and delete partitions so the message is correct.

-> Next time you may want to tell why you want to do this. There is that advice (shot down many times) about it saving files during an OS reinstall.

pretty clear - there is no unallocated space available for creating a partition.

If you want to do so for any reason you have the option of backing up your data files then re-installing your OS and creating new par6titions during the process OR you can make use of a non-destructive third party partitioning utility such as Partition Magic ( http://www.symantec.com/home_homeoffice/products/overview.jsp?pcid=sp&pvid=pm80 ) or Partition Commander (both work well and do essentially the same thing but Partition Commander ( http://vcom.avanquest.com/cat/prod.php?pid=2177 ) saves you some money.

I would still take the time to ensure that all data files were backed up because accidents happen.
