Can't open Pictures on USB Flash Drive?

Feb 27, 2012 11:15AM PST

I just bought a A-Data 32GB Flash Drive. I copied over 400pics to transfer to my other computer. When I downloaded them, and went to open them up non worked? I was in a rush, and stupidly deleted all of them off my computer before I checked them.... Is the flash drive shot?

Quick. Remove that hard drive you deleted them from.

Then add it to another PC. DO NOT USE THE PC THAT HAS THAT HDD!!!

Now try the Lost and Found at the top of this forum and good luck!

Don't understand your question?

Sorry, I don't follow your question?

I did try to upload them to another PC. I forgot to add, with those picture's were some "Word" documents and those aren't opening either.

Yet, I just tried downloading picture's/documents from my "Download" folder and those opened up no problem? I'm not completely computer smart but why wouldn't those other's open?

Dis-regard last post.

Doesn't look like I can edit my OP. I understand your question. I don't think I would feel safe removing my HDD from my old computer. That, and I don't even know if I would be able to hook it up. My old computer is from 2002 I believe.

Consider the shop you have your computer work done at.
