Quit Safari
Go to the Library that you will find when you double click the hard drive.
This is NOT the library that is in your Home folder.
/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/AdobePDFViewer.plugin.
Drag that plugin to the desktop or to the trash.
Launch Safari and you should be back to normal again

I recently installed a trial of Adobe Acrobat and then scrapped it rather than buy it. Ever since, when a PDF comes up on Safari, I get a black screen and a message saying, "The Adobe Acrobat/Reader selected for viewing PDF documents in browsers cannot be found at its installed location; it may have been moved or deleted.
Please reinstall or repair the application. (16:9).
I have Adobe Reader in its original location.
How do I fix this?
