Question

Can't open folder from external HDD

Apr 27, 2012 2:16AM PDT

I installed my old Vista sys HDD as an external storage for my new Win7 sys. I copied my "Users" folder from the old drive to my desktop . It shows 1.7GB of data but I can not open it. When I right click on the drive I get the drop down menu and but when I left click "open" the folder just disappears. Before I copied over I reformated the old HDD and also removed the partition. Any ideas?
Thanks,
