encode and decode various formats. You will need to figure out what originally supplied those codecs, and reinstall that. Windows, due to licensing considerations does not include these codecs.
that's embarrassing. windows keeps having fun on me all the time, but it's the first time this happens. i can't open any movie file format, may it be avi, wmv, mpg or whatever.
all was going well, meaning that i could open movies, but the other day, i reinstalled windows. after that, the movies wouldn't open anymore. i try using quicktime, realplayer, bsplayer, windows media player... none of them work.
when i open a file, the program starts and then the computer freezes. after a couple of seconds, it definitely crashes or it restarts.
anyone knows why it happens and what i might do?
