HOw I got around this was to then type in the name of the server\username then the password, you should notice it changed the domain and when you hit ok you should connect
I've just installed Windows 7 and am trying to map a drive from my computer which is in an AD domain to a SMB share on a Netware server. I have also tried the same with a standalone windows server.
The issue is that the map drive dialogue has the domain shown even if I select 'connect using different credentials'. I keep getting an error stating that the login details are not correct and the username keeps getting the AD domainname added to the username.
Can anyone tell me how to get around this as it's most infuriating that I can't log in with a non domain user to anything. XP used to just pass through the current user details (username and passwords are the same in both directories) without me having to reauthenticate.
Thanks in advance
