Have you followed the repairs noted by ...

In the noted thread, there are checks to be made, the IFIX program to run and more.

Which steps have you taken?

If none, then your problem should remain... a problem.

yes,
I followed almost every single one of it besides the restore since i didn't really set any restore point and couldn't find the win xp disk so couldn't do
Use the System File Checker (Sfc.exe) tool to scan all Windows File Protection (WFP)-protected files.
The rests are done but still having same problem.

With no XP CD, this won't work long.

Since you didn't do SFC, then nothing is assured.

Fix the missing CD so we can continue.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
